Sludge
generated during process and from the effluent treatment is
now a major concern of industry and the disposal of the sludge is
one of the major problems.
The
bacterial activity and decay and the harmful ingredients of the
sludge restrict the land application of sludge and hence the
sludge need to be :-
a) Stabilized - Sludge treatment to eliminate and restrict the
bacterial activity and decay.
b) Solidity - Sludge treatment to bind the solids and hence to
avoid powdering and dust spread.
c). Land fill - Proper development of land fill and it's closer to
avid the contamination if ground water and environment.
